Texcat can still kill/protect. Scum actions resolve first, which is why renata survived, and why NAF's kill still went through the Night he died.

Texcat can still kill/protect. Scum actions resolve first, which is why renata survived, and why NAF's kill still went through the Night he died. That's really quite powerful. Masons who can kill or protect and will act as backup to each other if one should die. Ouch!! I wonder if texcat will claim or stay silent?

If she claims, she's dead, so my money is on her staying silent unless a lynch procession is to proceed on her.

Wow, Day 7 is just a tad slow.

I think since renata/normal phase wants to concede, and since texcat wants to take her out, I think the color should reflect texcat taking her out. Unless she actually kills texcat, but I don't think she's going to that.

Welp, if that's the case... then it's essentially GG to the town.
Absolutely terrible luck for the scum.

On one last note, I'm not quite sure I agree with Renata's assessment and wish to Concede.
I mean, looking at what's left, I don't think they have a shot of winning.
But I would like them to at least hold out for as long as possible, for a sort of personal victory.
"Hahaha I fooled you guys for x days before you finally caught me!"
I mean, the scum win con. is basically boned up the ass right now, and I get the frustration (I remember one game in particular), but you might as well go out guns ablazin' without acare in the world.
Though even if they did that, it might not mean much because of where Texcat's hit is placed...

I actually considered killing Texcat as part of one of my convoluted loony plans I came up with yesterday, but ultimately decided the passive route might work better. Ironic. I did not expect any more town power roles, much less that one.
Losing 3 of 5 scum to night kill by town is just a little bit deflating.
As for going out guns a blazin' ... it's a little easier said than done, sometimes. At least I made the effort in the end, I suppose that counts for something.

I agree with the decision made by Renata. She could have dragged it on and on... perhaps.
But I think Day 7 showed that we all knew where it was going. Better to end this way where we all had fun right up to the end!
I think some of the roles were absolutely crazy and totally funny and the game was so entertaining (at least for me).
