Sure - not much is happening. This way I really feel we have a chance to win the game. It seems like Town has given up - and if we can get Peeker toNight it would be really nice

Day 7

It does look better than it has, but I personally am feeling worse. Bludgeoned by the past week in real life and my lynch at Giraffe boards, I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what to say. Who do I vote for?
Crazypunker -- the default. Won't help me long-term at all, but is the easiest vote for today. Storyteller -- would LOVE to go back to him, because there are great angles on which to attack, but can't figure out how to get past CIAS's pursuit after being wrong about bussing in the case of paranoia. Still think he could be a third party, but going after third parties *as* third parties tends to draw the wrong sort of attention. Hockey Monkey -- cheap vote, I don't really want to be a part of her lynching. Maybe I should re-evaluate that, though. Sooner or later some bright spark is going to put it together that scum have no interest in a true third party being lynched. So I guess when the bandwagon does happen, we should be on it. The only question is when and on what rationale.
Someone else. But who?
Also, do you think I should respond to any of the questions directed at me yesterday when I wasn't around? I just have no judgment rigth now. Gah.

Day 7

Also, we *really* need to think about our claims. Mass claim is very likely to happen by tomorrow, by default or by design. And of course the weekend is coming up, and it'll probably be a snow day tomorrow as well, so there goes my time until Monday. Gah. Option 1: both claim vanilla, no one can really disprove us at this point; and if one of us is lynched, there *may* be some assumption that the other would not have used the same claim. Maybe. Regardless, can you fake up vanilla claims for us both using either our real names or the fake ones we were given? I'll proof them for grammar, etc afterwards. Post them in the cover role thread. Option 2: (loony, but doesn't take much work) One of us claim competitive survivor, say that Hockey Monkey lied about part of her claim. Perhaps, for instance, the role PM says that there are four such survivors, and the actual goal is to be the last standing. Surviving with one or more of the others also alive only gets you second place. I could perhaps pull this off saying I've been assuming Storyteller as the fourth due to his pursuit of Hockey Monkey, and was hoping he would get her lynched without my help, followed by him once she was shown to be what she said she was, leaving only me. (While all the while mostly avoiding confronting anyone I actually do think is scum.) Improvise as necessary. Count on Hockey Monkey to realize on which side her bread is buttered once she sees the faked role, and not to out me as a liar. Hope she never comes to think of me as potential last scum standing, in which case her motivations abruptly turn 180 degrees. Hope she actually is more or less what she says she is, at that. Told you it was loony and would probably backfire sooner or later. Plus it only covers me. Option 3: (also loony, come to think of it) Use the fake claim I wrote for CIAS, in some form. Claim limited detective. Can only determine if someone's been responsible for causing another's death in the previous night. Would have "caught" Guiri if unlucky, as well as scum killers. Problems -- the role as claimed is one that would be very powerful at endgame; there's no excuse for whoever gets it to live long, so it would be both limited use and difficult to play. Would take some work to set up plausible "investigations". Person who claimed it might also should have been expected to show some suspicion of Sister Coyote, maybe. (Though perhaps we would investigate first.) Going after crazypunker becomes slightly problematic with this claim*, since a de-powered strongman would be a common choice for default scum killer, and he'd have to have been investigated, maybe even more than once. An actual benefit of this claim, in a weird way, is that we might be able to use it for some fun gameplay. For instance, say you use it. Squink finally gets around to "roleblocking" you, but you counterclaim with this role and your result. Why would you lie, right? Even as scum you have nothing to gain by going after an all but confirmed townie. Either Squink is somehow NOT town, or there's a scum redirector. You look great for exposing that (temporarily). Fun for the whole family, you know? Would obviously be very very difficult to pull off for very long. But fun. *Though that's an issue anyway due to Squink's "roleblock" of him. No one seems to have noticed, though.
